**International travel will be required. International travel will be paid for by Absolute Taste.**
**Event experience is essential.**
**Pre-planning**
- Implementing all policies and procedures for logistics set up
- Liaising with various teams for routing, scheduling delivery and collection of all freight
- Review, update and submission of all freight and loading documentation
- Work closely with the Head of Logistics to ensure that all Health and Safety and Food Hygiene signage and documentation is up to date
- Responsible for the ordering and stock control of all disposable items for the operation to ensure mínimal excess
- Ensure all sea freight heavy equipment is serviced and maintained
- Ensure that all heavy sea freight equipment is packed correctly both before outbound and inbound shipments
- Oversee the loading, upkeep, scheduling and day to day running of the fridge trailer
**Onsite**
- Take charge of the dressing, set-up and pack-down of the team motorhome or hospitality units at all events including power and AV
- Installation of all event heavy kitchen equipment
- Establishing and maintaining high sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
- Providing and installing sufficient operating equipment and cleaning supplies for the operation
- Taking responsibility for F&B stores and stock control to ensure that waste minimized and fully documented
- Document with photographs full set up at each venue for improving set up going forward
- Deliver BOH briefing including set up, H&S, wastage, BOH areas, site restrictions, de rig and freight loading
- Ensure safe working practice and records for all heavy Machinery
- To act as a support mechanism for the Front of House team to enable them to operate at the highest possible standard
- Ensure all BOH areas are clean, tidy and safe as a working environment
- To keep freight storage area as neat and compact as possible within the allocated areas
- Provide assistance with purchase of any F&B and equipment purchased that are required locally.
- Good knowledge of each events menus required
- Provide additional support for the kitchen team during fly away events including food prep, pot washing and cleaning
**Post Event**
- Provision of usage/wastage for beverage consumption
- Collect & Report into the Event Directors and Event Operations manager at the end of each race any issues to be solved going forward
- Accurate forecasting for provision of power and water implementation and installation
- Ensure that a pro-active approach is taken towards regular cost comparing and multiple quote assessments are routinely carried out for servicing, maintenance and equipment procurement to be submitted to Project Lead for sign off
- Reconciliation of spend and re forecasting of budget in line with Forecasting submission deadlines
**What we are looking for**
- An organized and energetic individual with a methodical approach to the work and life, who has worked in a similar fast paced environment. The individual must show initiative and innovation, always willing to learn and to assist both Front and Back of House at every opportunity
- You will be fully conversant with Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and able to work under pressure in a competitive market place and help gain market advantage
- Joining the Absolute Taste team it is important that you are a team player with an understanding of people, able to deliver results, have a ‘Can do and Will do’ attitude, be ethical and honest
- The role requires travel and work abroad for approximately 25 weeks of the year, in line with the F1 calendar
- Adhere to standards of behaviour and conduct expected by Absolute Taste
- Full drivers licence and forklift licence
