**Quality Assurance Assistant Job Details & Benefits;**
- 30k per annum
- Day shift Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
- 32 Holidays a year, inclusive of Bank Holidays (option to sell/carry over)

**Quality Assurance Assistant Job Details;**
- Ensure you work to agreed tolerances as stated on drawings.
- Ensure all non-conformances are reported and that appropriate action (re-working/re-grading/scrap) is taken
- Support a 5S approach, ensuring your area is tidy and organised
- To offer advice & instruction to the shop floor regarding weld quality & tolerances.
- Report any personnel or machine issues to Management as and when they arise, or take initiative to resolve any issues you can if Management not available
- Able to read & challenge technical production drawings to an excellent level of understanding
- Attend Operation, Production Meetings as may be required
- Monitor compliance to documented Quality Procedures
- Manage the issue of all local documentation controlled by the QMS
- Promote the importance of quality across the site
- To take involvement in product development
- Validate current and new production processes
- Support training of shop floor personnel

**Quality Assurance Assistant Person Specification;**
- Good knowledge of steel manufacturing i.e. welding activities and weld specs / WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), Presses, lasers
- Good knowledge with ISO9001
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of inline quality and checks
- Proactive attitude
- Worked with steel manufacturing and tolerances
- Good Knowledge of technical drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- A continuous improvement mind-set
- Ability to drive - might be required to work from other local site
