**About the role**:
Supporting the PRESTIGE-PTB PPIE (Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement) network and coordinating the PPIE feedback group. We’re looking for a friendly, confident communicator who relishes being a people person. There are opportunities for training in the administration of clinical studies in an NHS Trust/university setting and increase your experience in marketing as you will assist with public communications for the study.
What is the PRESTIGE-PTB study?
This multicentre cohort study aims to explore the genetic factors that influence susceptibility to spontaneous pre-term birth (sPTB) using Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) across diverse populations in England. It seeks to identify genetic determinants associated with sPTB, enabling enhanced prediction and understanding of its aetiology. The study will involve a nationwide collection of samples from women affected by sPTB from various ethnic backgrounds. Detailed clinical and genetic data will be gathered to understand the complex genomic mechanisms influencing sPTB.

**What you would be doing**:
You will be coordinating the PPIE group that advises the PRESTIGE-PTB study through their lived experience of preterm birth. This includes, but is not limited to, acting as primary point of contact for the formal PPIE Group advising the study, arranging meetings and feedback sessions with the Group, as well as keeping up to date with the latest public engagement policy from Imperial and funders Genomics England.
The post holder will also provide administrative support to the PRESTIGE-PTB study, including answering queries from potential and existing study participants, data entry to study database, arranging and taking minutes for study team meetings.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience of PPIE administration in a higher education or NHS Trust setting.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Video Conferencing
- Demonstrable experience in office administration following a range of administrative procedures
- Experience in the Higher Education sector or in an NHS Trust environment in a similar or related role(s)
