**About the Role**
We are now looking to recruit a senior business support officer to our EHC team as part of a redesign of the service. The post will be situated within our SEN Services and EHC team and be responsible for a wide range of administrative and financial functions across services that support children with SEN Working within the Children’s Service Directorate, we support the delivery of strategic priorities across the SEN system in line with relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
Providing effective and efficient administration and financial management including development of systems and processes to monitor and report on high needs funding ensuring compliance with agreed processes.
- Contributing to the delivery of a high standard of customer service to our stakeholders, partners, officers, and individuals who access our services, whilst striving to meet the aims, objectives and statutory targets required of the service.
- Providing administrative support to ensure that the multi-agency panels are run smoothly and effectively. Undertaking a range of tasks ensuring that the panel administration is effective and developing systems and processes for collection of key performance information that understands and drives practice.

They will be required to be organised, an excellent communicator and able to build strong relationships with young people, their families and other stakeholder.
Previous relevant experience in a business administration environment or related field
Experience working in a busy and demanding environment, preferably in a public sector position.
Proven experience of line management responsibilities, including leading, co-ordination, motivating staff and performance management Experience of using administrative processes, time management and providing support to senior managers.
Knowledge of SEND legislation, code of practice and SEN system is preferable.
Understanding of GDPR principles and the management and accurate recording of information.
