**About the role**

As the Head of Physical Estate, your role is to generate a best in class store design and physical estate multi-year strategy along with a supporting implementation plan that aligns with the overall Partnership strategy and our brand image creatively within our multiple physical retail formats.

We’re making significant investment into our physical estate and you will be accountable for a budget of circa £1bn. You will have end to end accountability to develop and embed processes and procedures to deliver a new physical estate strategy. As part of your role, you will work across capabilities to identify and deliver a store renewal, rotation, closure and opening programme which can be delivered collaboratively for our customers.

You will oversee the implementation of the plan including financial assessments and executive level approvals which will then hand over to the delivery teams alongside being accountable for ensuring the seamless integration of this strategy and activity into the core retail operating model allowing this role to meet its objectives of a transitory fixed-term role.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide strategic oversight on the effective and responsible use of circa £1bn budget across the life of the plan.
- Champion collaboration with diverse cross-functional teams, integrating market insights, business requirements and property considerations into the strategic store design framework.
- You will make judgments on the data provided and develop and agree accountability with stakeholders across Property, Commercial, Finance, Customer and Ecommerce for an improvement plan for future investments into the physical estate. Holding multiple Stakeholders accountable for their delivery and execution on behalf of the brand.

**Essential skills you’ll need**
- A strategic thinker with a proven track record in a leadership role within store development/physical estate
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful store design projects and budget management evidencing influence from best practice from the industry
- Exceptional proficiency in all relevant softwares and a demonstrated ability to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Experienced in articulating data and insight to a variety of stakeholders
