The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Customer team have the expectation of attending the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this. The role is based at Bracknell.
The salary range for the role is £120,000 - £170,000
**About the role**
We are currently recruiting for a Head of Creative & Content to join the Customer team on a permanent basis.

This leadership position reports into the Customer Director and is part of our vision to be more curated, more inspirational and more relevant to our customers. As part of the Customer leadership team, you lead a team of inhouse creative specialists and external agency partners to ensure the Waitrose & Partners brand is distinctive, appealing and is brought to life through its creative expression throughout the customers’ experience, in our marketing and communications as well as instore, online and for our partners.
You will set the overall creative direction for the brand and ensure this is activated in a way that drives differentiation and customer appeal whilst delivering against business performance objectives. You will hold guardianship and represent the brand in words, pictures and advertising, ensuring a coherent brand story, standards and graphics across our customer missions and experiences across all digital and physical touchpoints.
**Some of your primary outcomes include**:
- Lead the delivery of multi-million pound Waitrose brand campaigns and hold full accountability for the Waitrose Brand World.
- Define and set clear brand look and feel, tone of voice and creative expression over the long and short term, both in strategic executions and more tactical activations
- Set clear intent, direction and guardrails for graphic design, store design, digital design, art direction and editorial content to achieve outcomes, aligned to the brand and Partnership strategy.
- Work closely with the Head of Brand and CX to develop an in-depth understanding of our target customers, and interpret this into a coherent approach to store design, visual merchandising, graphic design and editorial content for the Waitrose grocery offer.
**Essential skills you'll need**
- Experienced creative leader in a customer-led business (retail or service sector)
- Strong team player, able to challenge and push for creative outcomes, whilst accommodating compromise where required
- Team leadership and development experience
- Comfortable delegating, working to deadlines and fixed budgets
- Fits with the Partnership culture and values
