**The Role**
- Helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible
- Helping identify residents’ unique goals and implement personalised activity plans
- Supporting residents explore new interests, engage in physical activities, and enjoy themselves in a stimulating and homely environment
- Working with families, residents, and local communities to create meaningful experiences for residents
- Create a sense of fun, flexibility, and creative thinking to provide new experiences and activities to meet a diverse range of interests
- Offer a mature, sensible outlook showing commitment, initiative, and desire to enhance the lives of residents

**Harry Sotnick House is a stylish and contemporary care home located in a quiet area of Fratton in Portsmouth.**

We provide nursing care for older people living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

Every aspect of the home has been thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ needs and to create a feeling of luxury, comfort and warmth. We’ve created a strong community feel here, with a shop, cafe and library all within the home - but we’re also close to the city centre, the beach and the many other attractions that Portsmouth has to offer. And our striking building includes lots of nautical design touches that celebrate the town’s naval heritage.

Our friendly, highly skilled team supports residents to stay independent and active, and to keep doing the things which are important to them. We welcome residents’ families and friends with open arms, and are always happy to support relatives who want to continue playing a role in their loved one’s care.
