The Cut & Craft is a premium casual dining restaurant. With an already established booming site in York City Centre and expanding in Manchester in the upcoming months. We also have our sister Lucia sites located in York and Beverley.

We are looking to hire a Head Host for our beautiful Leeds venue

You’ll be joining a team of guest obsessed individuals with a true passion for all things hospitality. The Cut & Craft promises to deliver the best experience with our full fresh food concept, hand crafted cocktails, local craft beers and extensive wine menu.

A Cut & Craft host is usually the first and last point of contact to the guest and vital in creating that first and never-ending last impression.

Head Host should be welcoming, friendly and helpful. You are required to champion the booking system and the The Cut & Craft service criteria. The purpose of the role is helping manage the reception area and the hosting team with the Reservations Manager.

This role consists of also supporting a team of hosts, greeting guests, dealing with enquiries, answering telephones and take bookings both face to face and over the telephone.

Presentation, Communication Skills, Excellent Telephone Manner, Friendly and Attentive.

**Qualifications**
N/A, but OpenTable experience preferred.

**AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

**Answering Telephones**

Answering telephones to the company standard, being friendly, polite and helpful.

**Taking and Handling Reservations/ Enquiries**

Hosts will be fully trained on how to use the booking system. You will be expected to make reservations and answer guest enquiries in relation to bookings.

**Assist the Reservations Manager**

You will often be required to assist Reservations with Large parties and Pre orders, alongside helping the Guest Experience Manager hosting events.

**Assistance in the Restaurant during service**

Assisting servers during peak business hours such as helping to relay and set tables.

Hosts are often the first and last encounter a guest has with our brand. Its therefore vital that all hosts champion Cut & Craft Service and are always presentable, genuine and friendly.
