At **Estabulo** we prepare all of our dishes in an authentic manner to give you the true taste of Brazilian Rodizio. Estabulo honours the Brazilian Gaucho’s traditional method of cooking, this involves taking the most delicious and flavoursome cuts of meat, which are then skewered and cooked slowly on open flames.

This method of cooking also means that all the meat is served fresh to the customers table, straight from the grill. Our unlimited dining concept sees customers enjoy as much meat, fresh salads and sides as they like, at a set price. As well as our main menus, we also have a selection of Vegetarian, Halal and Fish dishes on offer.

Estabulo’s beautiful restaurant interior, and dedicated bar area which serves an array of gorgeous cocktails, makes it the perfect place to dine with friends, family or for a romantic date night. We are looking to recruit **Host/Hostess** to join our friendly team in **Leeds**.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic person who has a real passion for hospitality.

**Job Purpose**

As host or hostess, you will be responsible for greeting our customers as they enter a restaurant, taking their reservations or putting them on a waiting list, giving them menus and showing them to their seats. You will also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Promptly greet every guest with a warm/inviting welcome
- Be able to explain the menu to guests in a friendly and precise way whenever necessary, suggesting appropriate items from the menu when asked
- Maximise potential sale through effective allocation of bookings and walk-ins
- Take ownership of guest care until guests are seated, including keeping the guests well informed
- Adapt language and service style to suit the guest, whilst always presenting in a professional, friendly and polite manner
- Communicate effectively with colleagues in all sections
- Answer the phone and deal with calls warmly and efficiently
- Take bookings accurately, ensuring all details are taken correctly, keeping in line with GDPR
- Actively and continuously take notice of the entrance, reception area, guest toilets and other guest areas
- Ensure the reception area is kept clean, tidy, and fully stocked
- Offer a fond and sincere farewell to guests on leaving
- **Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff
- High quality work unsupervised
- Friendly and polite
- Reliable and committed to making customers feel welcome
- A team player who is organised and able to multi-task
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Show initiative
- 1-2 years experience within a similar role

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour
