**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**Business area introduction**
- Santander’s Corporate DCM Solutions team brings together the bank’s strategic advisory capabilities across a range of non-vanilla products (Liability Management, Corporate Hybrids and High Yield) within the Debt Capital Markets business
- We focus on idea generation, structuring and execution of strategic debt financing transactions for the bank’s key corporate clients across Europe, US and Latin America
- We work in partnership with DCM origination, BCF, Syndicate, Debt Advisory, Leverage Finance and RSG teams to deliver value-added solutions for our clients’ needs, and support the origination of fixed income transactions

**Key activities**

Leading a team to originate and execute DCM transactions for High Yield issuers, in collaboration with the broader DCM team, Leveraged Finance team (for Financial Sponsors-backed transactions) and HY Syndicate

Geographic scope is pan-European, including the UK, plus execution of any HY Euromarket deals originating from outside of Europe (e.g. US, LatAM, Asia)

**What we’re looking for**
- A Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical discipline
- CISI - Corporate Finance Module (to be obtained during first 6 months)
- CISI - Regulatory Module (to be obtained during first 6 months)
- CISI - Derivatives (to be obtained during first 6 months)
- Fluency in English
- Ability to conduct client meetings in other European languages desirable

This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.

Given the recent impact of the Coronavirus outbreak we will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.
