As an established independent family-run Insurance Broker, our Client boasts its a wonderful place to work.
Whilst you strive to look after your clients, the company looks after you ensuring that all staff can enjoy what they do, in a professional but friendly atmosphere.
They are rapidly growing and reorganising which means they have new opportunities arising over the coming months
There now exists an immediate opportunity for an experience Insurance professional to join the Commercial insurance team
The clients will be a mixed portfolio of niche clients operating under a delegated scheme and SME e-trade business

**Responsibilities**:

- Dealing with New Business, Renewals, Mid Term Adjustments and claims
- Identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities from their own account and cross sales within the team
- Maintaining high levels of existing business retention
- Building strong, long-term professional working relationships with clients, colleagues and underwriters, providing expert advice and promoting exceptional standards of customer care.
- Opportunity to go out on client meetings and taking part in networking events
- Working towards achieving full product knowledge and obtaining Cert CII qualifications

- Word
- Excel
- Acturis - preferred

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- 1-2 years insurance broking, underwriting or even Claims experience
- Knowledge of commercial/personal lines products and insurance market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team player with demonstrable ability to plan, multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines
