Are you a claims handler looking to move into a different field? Someone working in financial services? Or, someone working in a customer service/sales role within the insurance industry and thinking about the next steps in your career?
If so this could be your next move, we're looking for individuals interested in being trained to become commercial property handlers, or for individuals who already have that experience.
**About your new role**
Reporting into the commercial claims team leader, you'll work with their clients to ensure that their claims are handled effectively, efficiently and with fairness.
Within the role your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing technical and complex commercial losses
- End to end claims handling, collaborating with the supply chain and delivering cost effective solutions
- Validating, investigating and negotiating
- Triaging new technical claims, investigating and negotiating settlements, identifying fraud, ensuring compliance
- Developing strategies for handling claims, mentoring, customer experience and meeting targets
- Overseeing indemnity spend and reserving, manging customer and TP expectations, maximising revenue and opportunities

**About you**
- A genuine interest in working as a commercial property claims handler
- Someone comfortable with being on the phone on a regular basis during each day
- The ability to negotiate effectively
- An understanding of the insurance industry
- A passion for delivering good customer outcomes
- Someone with compassion and empathy
- Competent in using Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
