We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join our established team. Reporting to our ASB Team Leader, our ASB Coordinator plays a crucial part in addressing and resolving issues of anti-social behaviour, working to create safer and more pleasant environments for our residents. They provide day to day admin and support for the Anti-Social Behaviour Team, in collaboration with teams across MSV and with external agencies.
What do our ASB Coordinator’s do;
- Take full details and prioritise initial reports of ASB, domestic abuse and hate crime that are referred to the ASB Team before assigning to an ASB Officer.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing ASB calls.
- Investigate and respond to reports of anti-social behaviour.
- Work with partner agencies, including the police and local authorities, to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Provide support and guidance to victims and witnesses of anti-social behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on anti-social behaviour cases.
- Contribute to the development of strategies and initiatives to prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour.
What we are looking for;
- Good standard of education with minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above including Maths and English.
- Good standard of IT skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A problem-solving approach.
- A commitment to promoting community safety and well-being.
