Butler Rose are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised Production Planner to join our client, a vibrant and innovative business with a base near Honiton. The role would be an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a desire to develop a career in supply chain, or an experienced supply chain professional, who is interested in joining a growing business with a good work/life culture.

As a Production Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of production processes. You will be responsible for creating and implementing production plans based on forecasts, while ensuring on-time delivery by coordinating the production, stock and capacity within the supply chain. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for optimising production processes, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create production plans based on forecast and our ERP system.
- Coordinate production, stock, capacity, procurement, and forecast to ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor and improve service levels to meet customer expectations.
- Serve as an ERP superuser and maintain the ERP system.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Keep customers updated on the status of their orders.
- Liaise with the supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Generate picks for the warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- High level of numerical literacy and excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Sense of urgency, passion, commitment, and responsiveness to meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in production planning or a related field is preferred but not essential

Package
- Salary up to £30,000
- Monday to Friday
