Job Title: IT Support Manager

**Salary**: £35,000 - £45,000
Location: St Albans
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

SKILLS REQUIRED
- Previous experience in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support roles is vital, ideally in a retail environment
- Knowledge in retail technologies such as bar coding and warehouse operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Good knowledge of Windows server, Office365 and related services
- Experience of various web frameworks such as Wordpress, shopify, Magento etc
- Hands on experience of hardware, patch panels, switches and routers
- Knowledge of networking, telephony, printing and cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Experience in Netsuite ERP desirable
- Full clean UK driving license

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Desktop support analysts, scheduling work and overseeing deliverables, assisting and covering 1st/2nd level support when required.
- Providing a point of escalation of incidents as appropriate
- Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure quality of service and manage issue resolution.
- Oversee product licencing
- Maintenance of various web sites ensuring versions of software and plug ins are up to date.
- Propose solutions to business challenges where required and work with the Head of IT to implement any necessary enhancements to software and systems.
- Ensure the department documentation is maintained and that equipment is recorded, protected and fit for purpose.
