**The Role**

This role sits within our communities' team at Sovereign. As an **In-Work Coach** you will be working with a caseload of customers who are in work and looking to take the next step in their career. For some customers this may be a change in career path, for others progression within their current role, increased hours, or a more secure position.

Our **In-Work Coach** is a full-time 12-month opportunity. The position is funded by our Customer Support Fund, a £3 million investment to support our residents to address the current challenges with the increased cost of living.

You will be based in either our Bristol, Exeter or Christchurch office where you will be hybrid working with two days a week in office.

**What we are looking for**
- Someone who is passionate about supporting customers to meet their work aspirations
- The ability to coach people in a practical and meaningful way
- A drive to work with people to set and achieve their goals
- The ability to positively engage with our partners both internally and externally to develop and deliver opportunities that create positive change for our customers
- Someone who is able to help us shape and deliver a service offer that will truly make a positive impact for our customers
- The ability to be self-motivated, work autonomously and be highly organised.

A background in Employment Support Work is not essential. We are looking for dynamic, driven, professional individuals with either direct experience or transferrable skills to provide structured coaching, advice and guidance that enables our customers to fulfil their work aspirations.
