Does home based, or maybe 1 - 2 days a week in the office sound good? How about coaching ex-offenders to get back into work? And at the same time working for a charity that has been voted a great place to work by its own staff?
The role is supporting ex-offenders in Bristol to secure employment. Ideally you will be Bristol based (so ideally can pop into the office 1 - 2 days a week) but equally if you lived in say Swindon or Gloucester and wanted a home-based role that would work.
You will work with 'job ready' ex-offenders. This means that prior to you working with them, they will have already been coached by a case manager, who would have helped them access accommodation and support, and will have already been on an industry relatedtraining course.
The charity already has a bank of employers and agencies that they work directly with. So, you will be coordinating their recruitment, as well as managing the accounts (so checking in for vacancies and new roles and matching ex-offenders to positions).
To apply, you must have worked in a job supporting people into employment, either within employability or recruitment. So, you might have worked as a recruitment consultant, in-house recruiter, talent acquisition officer, employment advisor, employment coach,job coach, support manager or careers advisor.
