**Role: FPGA Engineer**
**Location: Edinburgh**
**Term: Contract (6 Months)
- Potential to be extended**
**Hourly Rate: £50-60 Per Hour**
**Hybrid Working Opportunity**
**As the FPGA Engineer you will have the following key skills**:
- Full product lifecycle involvement from early conceptual studies through to manufacturing support post-release
- Work closely with a variety of different departments within the engineering team to ensure customers’ expectations area met
- Develop solutions for FPGA-based robotics systems and embedded control systems, using Intel processor + FPGA
- Develop optimized reference platforms for broad distribution of robotics solutions using a mix of FPGA SoC development skills
**As the FPGA Engineer your responsibilities will include**:
- Experience taking FPGA designs through the complete development life cycle, including integration onto target hardware.
- Experience performing integration/debug of FPGA solutions in hardware.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—a team player who is able to work independently and cooperatively to project milestones
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
- Experienced user of relevant FPGA toolsets for Microsemi, Xilinx or Altera device families
