This is your opportunity to:Influence technology adoption across industries by showcasing Alpha Data’s world-class FPGA solutions.Work closely with customers to solve complex technical challenges and accelerate their time to market.Shape the future of reconfigurable computing while building strong, long-term relationships.If you’re passionate about electronics, thrive on collaboration, and want to be involved from opportunity identification through to project delivery, we’d love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify high-potential customers and opportunities.Engage with customers to understand their business and technical needs and translate these into tailored solutions.Define and propose solutions using Alpha Data’s portfolio of COTS or Modified-COTS FPGA products.Demonstrate technical feasibility, influence decision makers, and support contract negotiations.Monitor technology trends and contribute to new product definitions.Foster long-term customer relationships and grow additional business.Essential Qualifications/SkillsDegree in Electronics Engineering or related field.Strong foundation in FPGA-based processing and embedded systems.Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Eligible for UK BPSS Clearance.Desirable:Experience with Defence, Space or Financial Trading SectorsStrategic and commercial acumen to maximise product value, counter competitive threats and close high-value deals.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25%)Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or systems engineering roles, ideally at a supplier of embedded FPGA based productsWhy Join Alpha Data?Enjoy a competitive salary, an attractive bonus scheme, and a comprehensive benefits package with generous holiday allowance.Be part of a globally respected company at the forefront of FPGA technology.Work on innovative projects that make a real difference.Access career development opportunities in a growing business.Work in a modern Edinburgh facility, just a short walk from the city centre.Sounds great, how do I apply?This role is being supported by Richard Cross at Eden Scott.
