Special Needs Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 basis with children that have complex learning needs. This specialist school is looking to recruit for a Teaching Assistant to work within a small classes of children thatrequire additional support. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working on a 1-2-1 basis with Key Stage 2, providing academic and social support for children with a range of complex needs.
A kind, caring and empathetic approach is essential for this role. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is happy to provide children with a high quality of care and greets every day with a smile. This role requires experience supporting youngpeople with additional needs, experience working with Autism or Complex Learning needs is desirable.
Job Role:

- Providing 1-2-1 support as a specialist Teaching Assistant
- Supporting Key Stage 2 children with complex learning needs
- Breaking down barriers to communication
- Working alongside the pastoral team and SENCO meet needs of children
- Delivering small group intervention sessions and sensory sessions
- Working with a dedicated Teaching Assistant team to ensure that every day is special
