Special Needs Teacher – Key Stage 4 Are you an experienced Special Needs Teacher looking for a new opportunity to make a difference? This special school is looking for a Special Needs Teacher to teach a small class of Key Stage 4 children with complex learning needs. The class that you will be teaching consist of 9 children with a range of special educational needs including communication impairments and Autism, experience with PECS or Makaton would be preferred. As a Special Needs Teacher at this school, you will be working closely with an outstanding team of Teaching Assistants who will be supporting your class. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to the individual needs of your children and ensuring that your classroom is a safe and nurturing environment. the school itself has excellent facilities, and you will be working with a Headteacher who truly cares about his staff and students. This role requires a QTS teacher, and the school is happy to accept applications from both primary and secondary trained teachers.
