Chesterfield, United Kingdom Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Full time

CAMHS in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire has an exciting opportunity for a qualified, experienced professional to step into an established role with a skilled and experienced team. Working as the Team Lead for our Eating Disorders Service you would have a high standard of knowledge and experience of working with young people in CAMHS who are experiencing a range of mental health presentations.

As well as providing operational, clinical, and strategic leadership, as a UKCP registered systemic psychotherapist you will provide a highly specialist family therapy service for children and adolescents who present with eating disorders and clinical complexity.

To provide specialist advice, consultancy and supervision to other professionals within the team and those working with complex and challenging family situations across child health and partner agencies ( e.g. Social services, paediatrics, schools)

To be a member of the Clinical Leadership Team and to represent CAMHS and the Eating Disorders Service at relevant meetings and professional activities by agreement with the Head of CAMHS and the Clinical Director.

To be proactive in ensuring the efficacy of the CAMHS Eating Disorder care pathway and that of the shared paediatric/CED pathway, influencing service development in partnership with the Child Health Care Unit.

There are a number of multi-disciplinary teams in CAMHS, which include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers and administrators all of whom work closely together to keep the child/young person's care as the primary focus of everything we do. Our last CQC assessment rated us overall as Good, with the Caring category as Outstanding.

Caring for our staff is also important to us. In our latest staff survey 98% said they enjoyed working with their colleagues. 89% said that colleagues are understanding and kind to one another and 87% felt valued by their team.

Clinical supervision, career & personal development and health & wellbeing support are all core to our service. We have an excellent rolling programme of internal training all proposed, planned and delivered by our staff. Our main hospital is on a greenfield site with abundant countryside, lovely views, beautiful landscaping and outdoor gym
- it's easy to access green space at break times which offers an opportunity to de-stress.

We are firmly rooted in the founding principles of the NHS, and we have built on this by “Leading the Chesterfield Way”, and with our Proud to CARE values. This means leading with care, openness, integrity and embedding an inclusive culture. We know that people have a life and responsibilities outside of work and we offer flexibility and a whole raft of support to care for your physical and mental wellbeing. This role is hugely important to us and we look forward to hearing from you.
