To be responsible for ensuring an effective business model is in place that delivers the agreed strategy and to provide professional, operational and strategic leadership to children and young people’s mental health services, drawing on clinical knowledge and experience to support the delivery of high-quality person-centred care.
The post-holder will provide leadership which enables the operational and transformational delivery of high quality, safe and person-centred care through the engagement and empowerment of others. Furthermore, the post-holder will work collaboratively with other health care providers, agencies, and commissioners to develop and deliver relevant strategies. The post-holder will provide leadership and strategic direction with the other members of the Care Unit. The post-holder will be responsible for the development of the Care Unit and will be expected to make a positive contribution to the safety of the whole hospital. The post-holder will be responsible for leading on and delivering success across a number of key programmes within CAMHS and across the wider Family Care Division.

To work collaboratively with other health care providers, agencies and commissioners to develop and deliver relevant strategies.
To provide leadership and strategic direction with the other members of the Care Unit. Working closely together the Care Unit, will be responsible for the development of the Care Unit, and will be expected to make a positive contribution to the safety of the whole hospital.
To be responsible for leading on and delivering success across a number of key programmes within the Division. These programmes will be essential in ensuring that the Division can deliver its primary objectives and targets over the years and will encompass a range of topics including productivity and efficiency, transformation, clinical effectiveness, quality and workforce succession planning.
