**The Judd School is a high performing boys’ grammar school which is enriched by a mixed sixth form.**:
We seek to appoint Exam Invigilators to support the school's busy Exams department throughout the academic year. We will need support for our Internal Exams which run:
Monday 6 to Friday 17 January 2025

Monday 24 February to Friday 7 March 2025

Tuesday 22 April to Friday 2nd May 2025

Summer exams Thursday 8th May until the end of June

There will be adhoc opportunities for additional work particularly in the Autumn term.

Please note, the hours of work and days of the week will vary. AM exams start at 08:45; PM exams start at 14:00. On site reporting time is approximately 30 minutes before. We would be looking for a commitment of 5 sessions a week (AM/PM to suit) during exam times.

No experience is necessary as training will be provided.

**Introduction**

The Judd School maintains a long tradition of academic excellence and has exceptional expectations for all its students. Above all, it has a reputation for being a very caring and happy community. Academic achievement is very high with over 10% of leavers receiving offers for Oxford or Cambridge Universities.

**History**

The Skinners’ Company, out of funds provided by the Sir Andrew Judd Foundation, founded the Sir Andrew Judd's Commercial School in 1888 in East Street, Tonbridge. The school moved to its present site in 1896 and became known as The Judd School in 1925. Under the 1944 Education Act the School became the first Voluntary
- Aided Grammar School. Today it still has close links with the Skinners’ Company whose members make up a significant proportion of the Governing Body.

**Admissions**

The Judd School is a selective Voluntary-Aided Grammar School with approximately 900 boys in Years 7-11. There are around 500 students in the Sixth Form, which includes around 150 girls on average. A key enriching facet of the school is its openness to children from all parts of West Kent and beyond. Admissions are based on ranked 11+ score, with 157 places for 'Inner' area students and 23 for 'Outer' area (see website for further details).
