IQ Talent Solutions are delighted to be working with one of our most prestigious clients who are an industry leader in the technology sector, supporting them with the recruitment of an Sustainability Coordinator to join their thriving team in London on a12 month FTC.

Your role as an Sustainability Coordinator will be to manage and maintain the UK environmental management system across all UK & Republic of Ireland locations to ensure continued certification to ISO 14001. To provide support to customer requests and tomanage risks within the UK remit. To gather and collate environmental data (energy, waste, etc.,) for periodic reporting.

What the Sustainability Coordinator will do:

- To champion, coordinate and promote Environmental management throughout the UK (to include ISO14001 EMS, waste management, energy/carbon management) to enhance the UK's sustainability performance and raise profile and awareness of Environmental managementamongst UK employees and customers.
- Maintenance and development of ISO14001 Environmental Management System across the UK & RoI and working with local management to ensure continued ISO14001 certification.
- Contribute towards the integration of ISO14001 EMS with the Single Certification/ IMS programme and combined audit schedule
- To develop, maintain, implement and support procedures and measures to ensure compliance with all applicable Environmental legislation
- Co-ordinate the Environmental management programmes, assisted by team members and local management, to ensure the company is externally recognised as a leading organisation amongst the business community.
- Support and contribute to the wider ESG programmes
- Both lead ESG/Risk & Compliance projects and work as a team member on such projects as appointed
- Contribute to Bid/tender submissions where required and where applicable, for awards/accreditations externally (e.g. Carbon Trust Standard) and internally within RFG (global & EMEA region)
- Responsible for ensuring continuity of internal auditing of ISO14001, option also for ISO9001 & ISO27001 as part of integrated auditing.
- To provide advice and support to all EMEA and customers with regards to Environmental management processes to ensure that the company and customers environmental responsibilities are fulfilled
- To assist and support other members of the Business Assurance Team as and when required, to enable the Team to achieve its goals.
- Liaising with interested parties such as enforcement agencies, RCL, customers and suppliers

What experience the Sustainability Coordinator needs:

- Experience with ISO14001
- Experience of coordinating Sustainability and Environmental activities
- Excellent communication & presentation skills, both written & oral
- Ability to present and influence at senior management level
- Numerate / business background with a high level of computer literacy
- Ability to collate and analyse data to produce clear recommendations for management action
