Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker

IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) is the leading specialist domestic abuse charity in the Yorkshire region. We are looking for dedicated, courageous and compassionate people to join our inspiring and inclusive team. Working within our York Team you will provide support for individuals, couples and co-parents with safe arrangements for children. You will assist with earlier, out of court resolution and support with family court proceedings from a domestic abuse and trauma informed perspective. You will provide support to enable individuals, couples, and co-parents to de-escalate dispute resolution. You will identify domestic abuse at the earliest opportunity to ensure that the correct support is in place.
In return we provide comprehensive training, development opportunities, a competitive salary, 26 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (Full-time), contributory pension scheme, employer-paid health cash plan and access to other national discount schemes.
Salary £26,357.21 FTE, £14,247.14 pro-rated for 20 hours per week
**Contract**: Fixed term for 18 months
