Here at Green Fox Cleaning, we're seeking an **experienced and very reliable** **cleaning supervisor **that takes pride in their work to join us to oversee the smooth service delivery of cleaning services at a large school in Shoreham By Sea.

**Previous cleaning supervision experience is essential.**
- **You'll be overseeing a large cleaning team each day Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 10pm (32.5 hours per week)**.
- First class team working ability and communication skills are essential in this role. Due to the site requiring regular audits and cleaning to meet the clients cleaning standards and expectations.

With your leadership ability and people skills you'll ensure that the school is cleaned to a very high standard each night, and will be responsible for checking standards each shift prior to finishing, and action them with additional tasks if you feel it's required.

**Your key daily tasks will be as follows**:

- Meeting the team at the start of each shift, deploying staff and ensuring all areas are assigned in the event if shirt notice sickness etc.
- Ensuring a consistently high cleaning standard.
- Inducting and training new staff members.
- Liaising with the school premises team to report defects.
- Be flexible and staff staff around events such as parents evenings and hall lettings.
- Dealing with HR and performance matters, supported by the Contracts Manager.
- Assisting with cleaning duties as required to ensure full service delivery.

You will be working 43 weeks per year (39 weeks term time plus 4 weeks deeper cleaning), and will have 28 days paid holiday. As this is a school cleaning vacancy, you will have to take your annual leave in school holidays, and outside scheduled deep cleaning dates.
