- To build professional positive relationships with children/young people and provide both practical and emotional support in a child centred environment.
- Promote structure, boundaries, and routines within a safe and nurturing environment.

- Provide Support for children and young people, with complex and challenging behaviours, either in their home, a local authority home or accommodation provided by Embrace Care.
- Liaise with other agencies and community resources as appropriate to access local service provisions.
- Support children and young people to engage in constructive use of their leisure time in line with care and placement plans.
- To support children and young people’s personal and emotional development.
- Maintaining accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets and files both to record information and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to take place.
- You will be required to work a minimum of 2 nights a week.
- To work on a rota basis of 3 on 3 off.
- Ensuring that budgets are managed effectively, and the use of finances are properly monitored including petty cash returns and weekly attendance records.
- Ensure that all the vehicles have the appropriate paperwork, to facilitate all jobs.
- Ensuring that all daily and weekly tasks, within the home are carried out to a high standard and that the paperwork is sent to the Service Manager, to evidence this.

Report all incidents and accidents to your Team Leader or Service Manager immediately.
