**Job Role**:Bank Residential Support Worker, Children's Home

**Location**:Garstang, Preston, Lancashire

**Hourly Rate**:£13.45 - £14.14 per hour (rolled up holiday pay included)

**Shifts**:Varied to suit the needs of the home - days, evenings, 24 hour shift with sleeps

**Service Users**:Young People age 7 to 17, Emotional Behaviour Disorder, working 1:1

As a residential support worker, you will play a vital role in providing nurturing, therapeutic care for children and young people who have experienced adversity.

Real Care Support provides residential care homes for Children and Young People.

You will work within a collaborative environment and contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans for children and young people. All staff are required to ‘sleep-in’ on a rota-basis

We pro-actively develop the skills and experience of our staff through regular supervision, on-going support, training and a competency-based appraisal process.

Ideally, you will already hold a QCF/NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People Qualification and have experience within a residential setting. However, we have opportunities for those without prior experience, as we provide full training and support in obtaining the qualification.
