0-19 Islington Admin Team (Single Point Of Contact)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly single point of contact in Islington.

You will need to be self motivated, enthusiastic and enjoy working with processes as you are going to be key in ensuring we support the clinicians understand data and keep their recording systems as accurate as possible.

To be considered for this role you must have excellent communication skills both written and orally. Must have have excellent PC skills be able to use Excel, NHS mail and Word.
- To work as a member of the admin team.
- Record keeping and ensuring all documentation, both written and electronic.
- Distribute in coming correspondence.
- receive and manage telephone call for the 0-19 service
- To liaise with the HV and SN service to forward information on children
- To undertake delegated duties as appropriate to grading of post.
- Act as a support for other staff within the department to ensure smooth running of Admin Team.
- Willingness to develop and learn new skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility to manage own work load and prioritise given tasks appropriatelyThe organisation is the biggest employer in the area, with over 4,500 staff; delivering healthcare not only on the acute hospital site which has 420 beds, but also from a variety of other community based health centres and through visits to patients homes across the boroughs to address the health needs of the local population. - Triage and manage the appointment system for the universal offer of 1 and 2 year health reviews for all Islington resident children, recording information clearly and accurately.
- Support with auditing of health review templates.
- Support the health visiting teams with the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and to achieve their targets for the universal offer of 1 and 2 year health reviews within Islington.
- Support both the Health Visiting and School Nursing Teams with the delivery of all aspects of the Healthy Child Programme across the 0 to 19 age range.
- Manage the new birth notifications for Whittington Health on a daily basis including the tracking, logging and correct distribution of all Birth Notifications. Identifying any discrepancies and notifying the appropriate team/person/service of such.
