**About the role**
This is a full-time role 37.5 hours per week working with a small but busy team in the HRIL office in Stockport.
Core office hours of Monday to Friday 8.30 - 16.30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Part of a team of 5 reports into the owner - no direct reports.
Salary - £22-24k per annum
**Job Purpose**
To support and drive sales / profitability of the UK based HRIL team.
**Key roles and responsibilities**
- Internal sales development including:
- Managing a personal sales budget / target
- Handling enquires and tenders from customers
- Negotiating prices, with guidance from Company owner
- Developing and maintaining existing customers by strengthening personal relationships and ensuring future growth through cross sales, new products, solutions and services
- Recruiting new customers
- Provide follow-up high quality and technical advice and support to customers
- Creating quotations based on customer requirements
- Update and maintain sales and marketing data - catalogues and prices
- Processing of all printed marketing, be the point of contact for the external suppliers
- Making sales reports and pipeline management
- Preparing statistics and budgets
- Updating the CRM system
- Co-ordination of exhibitions including overseeing all design elements ad logistics planning, as well as participating at exhibitions
- Compliance with relevant ISO procedures
- Updating Sage 200 - as required
- Support to the External Sales Manager - as required
- Processing sales orders/Dispatching - as required
- Any other administration and support duties required by the team
**Essential Skills, qualifications and experience**
- Experience of liaising with customers in the UK (essential) and overseas (preferred)
- Internal product sales experience
- Able to build relationships easily - specifically over the telephone and remotely
- Fluent in English - oral and written
- Good team player
- Confident communicator - verbally and written
- Self-starter
- Flexible
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ambition to exceed sales targets
