**The role will involve communicating with customers in a courteous, timely manner to provide the information required.**

**The Role**:

- Answers phones in professional, courteous manner and supplies customers with general information concerning company products, availability of requested product, and pricing.
- Efficiently inputs customer orders received by telephone, mail or onto the order entry system.
- Handling of quotation requests in a timely manner.
- General office work including filing.
- Act as the company gatekeeper.
- Assisting the sales team with information.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and end users.
- Liaising with the warehouse team.
- Attending trade shows and selling to the public.
- Dealing with any customer issues calmly and effectively.
- Working with the Customer Service Team and Warehouse team to ensure the best service is provided to the customer base and to the other internal departments.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to file both alphabetically and numerically.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Previous experience of Sage 200 desired but not essential.
- The ability to prioritise workload.

**Working hours: Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 17.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 16.00pm.**

**Salary: £9.50 per hour.**

**This is a 12 week Temporary to Permanent position.**
