We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. - **Responsibilities**_:_
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
- Help cooks with cooking tasks, ensuring dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support catering events by preparing food items as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- **Requirements**_:_
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
- Understanding of food safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
