Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident rates, trends, and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective safety programs
- Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and first aid
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices

**Skills**:

- Strong report writing skills to document safety inspections, incident investigations, and training sessions
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of accidents or incidents
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to provide basic first aid when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train employees on safety protocols and procedures
- Attention to detail to identify potential hazards or non-compliance issues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
