**So. What is this role exactly?**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Asset Surveyor working within the Strategy & Sustainability team. It is a great time to be joining as we start to build our own internal surveying team. We are looking for a highly competent and enthusiastic multidisciplinary surveyor to act as mentor and inspiration to entry level colleagues within the team. The role requires an expertise in traditional stock condition surveys, HHSRS inspections and energy efficiency assessments.

**What will my working week look like?**

The role will involve working from home, the office and predominantly out on site. You will live within a reasonable travel distance to cover our portfolio and within a reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington to attend meetings and training courses.

**What will I be responsible for doing?**

You will perform a mentorship role within the team and ensure the effective delivery of Your Housing Groups annual stock condition programme

You will also be expected to undertake other surveys such as investment validation surveys, estate audits, balcony surveys, energy efficiency assessments and Energy Performance Certificates.

- Ability act as a mentor and lead by example
- Wide experience of carrying out a range of building surveys and assessments including stock condition, Decent Homes, HHSRS and energy efficiency assessments
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety & compliance issues in relation to building services and construction
- Educated to A level standard or level 4 qualification (HNC/NVQ4) equivalent and/or relevant technical qualification or experience

Ideally you will have.
- Relevant technical qualification (or working towards) e.g. RICS or CIOB accredited HND or degree level qualification
- Clear and articulate communication skills, both written & verbal
