**Job Description**:
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Security & Safety - CG EMEA, the Security and Safety Specialist - CG EMEA, will support the Senior Manager, Security - EMEA in the implementation of strategies of prevention, detection, and response regarding risk and potential threats against the company.

Focused on supporting the safety and security of our team members, assets, and overall reputation, the Security and Safety Specialist - EMEA will aid in the provision of security and safety risk management support to CG EMEA, under the direction of the Senior Manager, Security and Safety - CG EMEA and in coordination with the Canada Goose Global Security Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in creation of Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) and Physical Site Survey (PSS) support to CG EMEA facilities, permanent and temporary retail locations, and showrooms
- Understudy the Senior Manager, Security and Safety - CG EMEA to provide depth of capability in the team
- Assist in the administration of access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems at CG EMEA sites in coordination with Canada Goose Global Security Team
- Provide support in the management of CG EMEA security incidents, to engage appropriate response, and ensure that information is documented for use in after-action review
- Conduct or assist in investigations of security breaches at CG EMEA locations
- Provide administrative support to support CG EMEA operations, including purchase orders and vendor management for security and safety-related equipment and services
- Support operations of Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC)
- Support ongoing Health and Safety initiatives within CG EMEA including auditing and analysis of Safety risks to the business

Experience, Education and Designations:

- Post-secondary degree or certificate in security or safety
- 1-2+ years of relevant experience either at a security organisation or within a safety specific role
- Military or law enforcement experience is viewed positively
- Professional security designation or willingness to undertake a company-sponsored security designation
- Professional safety designation - NEBOSH NGC in OHS - is highly desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

- Knowledge of security and risk management principles, practices, policies, and procedures, including relevant legislations
- A working knowledge of security technologies, including CCTV and access control
- Proactive and driven self-starter that can work independently on management intent
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, with strong computer skills, including MS- Office / Office 365
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team and cross-functional environments
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills to respond to shifting priorities
- Is passionate about security, safety, risk management, and problem-solving
- Ability to operate in multiple languages is desirable; Fluent in English, with functional ability in

one of the following: French, German, Dutch, and/or Italian preferred

Working Conditions:

- The position is based within an office environment in London, UK
- Support for incident response may require occasional availability outside of normal working hours.
- Some business travel may be required, e.g. conduct of Threat Risk Assessments / Site Surveys / Site Auditing for safety related assessments, etc.
