Admin and Accounts Assistant

We are a successful construction company, we are looking to employ a bright and personable individual with a good understanding of Excel and familiar with utilising the software for tracking costs etc, although on the job training will be provided to familiarise with our systems.
The role is as an assistant to the Administration & Financial Manager and will include assisting with the following tasks, including tasks as the line manager may request or direct:
- Managing & monitoring project trackers
- Managing & reporting Excel cost trackers
- Producing basic Health & Safety packs - Guidance will be provided
- Producing work schedules in Excel format
- Assisting with relevant administration and financial tasks, data entry, checking of invoices, preparing payment runs and assisting with credit control.
As part of a small team this role offers the opportunity to be noticed and to progress within the business. In addition to the required skill set, it is important that any applicant is able to communicate well with colleagues and to maintain a positive and non-combative approach.
