Glenside Finance is an established sub prime car finance business. Having served non-prime customers for over 30 years and invested significantly in technology and automation, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced car finance collections adviser to join our wider team in Haydock.
- Communicating effectively with customers in arrears and other third party agents appointed by the business, usually by telephone and in writing;
- Ensuring that customer accounts in early arrears are identified and contacted in a timely manner;
- Agreeing sensible and compliant payment plans with customers which meet the objectives of the business;
- Reviewing customer accounts and addressing a customer’s change of circumstances;
- Following the company’s escalation procedure and generating and issuing correspondence to customers;
- Supporting any escalation and recovery processes involving third party agents and authorities;
- To assist in wider tasks and projects within the collections and administrative functions;
- Maintaining case management with accurate and comprehensive notes.

You will need to:

- have at least 12 months finance collections experience, preferably in motor finance;
- have excellent customer service and numeracy skills;
- be self-motivated and able to work well within a team;
- be organised, have the ability to prioritise tasks with mínimal supervision and work well under pressure;
- understand KYC and anti-money laundering regulations;
- have good awareness of the regulatory obligations under the FCA;
- always look to improve processes.

On a full-time and permanent basis, you will be required to work contracted hours of 37.5 per week Monday to Friday.
