**PURPOSE**

The Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) works by charging the consumer a small deposit for the bottle or can that it comes in, which they get back when they return it to a collection point to be recycled. DRS will be introduced in August this year so we have to get ready This is a chance for someone internally to step into a brand new role, to design and own our new processes and ways of working.

The role will sit in our finance team, its a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop with the business and is perhaps looking for a step up.

**JOB OUTLINE**:

- You will design and own all processes from order to redemption. You will document and update on an ongoing basis, constantly looking for improvements and efficiencies
- You will be accountable for balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts for Deposit fee, VAT (DRS only) etc.
- You will create and deliver DRS Monthly KPI and dashboard reporting, at a level that will be shared with SLT and intermittently the Board. Insights will be key as you drive the business understanding around process and risks
- You will verify all data shared by our customers against expectation and have a role in identifying potential errors and importantly fraud. This will be an ongoing responsibility throughout the scheme
- You will be accountable for balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts for Deposit fee, VAT (DRS only) etc.
- You will be the Master Data owner, you will create new SKUs, link into the NPI process and determine how and when to end old SKUs.
- You will be the owner of Returns and the annual process/cycle. This will include monthly and annual returns in addition to forecasts etc.
- You will become the expert on all things DRS and be the ‘go to’ in our business.
- You will (once the scheme is live) have line manager responsibility for a junior DRS role. You will upskill, coach and develop this person.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED;**

- _You will have a good understanding of our customers and how they operate*

- _You be motivated to become an expert through your own curiosity, research and network*
