**About the role and our team**

Manx Care are recruiting for a Head of Records Management

Within this role, you will lead the development and delivery of a professional corporate Manx Care records management framework that supports Manx Care services.

You will also lead change programmes and be responsible for successfully delivering strategic projects and initiatives in support of Manx Care’s Transformation programme, securing the commitment of all staff to organisational change and continuous improvement. You will be key to the development, review and maintenance of the Records Management function across Manx suite of policies, procedures and guidance that support best practice and the professional codes of practice, along with national guidance and legal frameworks. This will provide specialist knowledge on the Record Life Cycle which defines a structure to ensure all records are created, updated, tracked, maintained, handled securely, archived and ultimately destroyed through a recognised governance framework.

We’re looking for someone with experience of developing a Records Management Strategy including undertaking a review of the function and identifying short, medium and long term recommendations and implementation plan. You must have experience of developing retention schedules, policies, and procedures.
