**Location**: Central Support, Hemel Hempstead

**Hours of work**: Permanent, 37.5hrs per week

We are looking for an HR Leader that will help define and implement the operational HR strategy, partnering with the executive team, regional Operations directors and Regional Business Partners to deliver operational excellence, build capability and succession. **Who are we?**

At Away Resorts we’re a growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. With a whopping 27 parks around the UK, we are on a mission to inspire everyone to holiday in the UK.

**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting into the Chief People Officer, you will be leading the People Operations team. Our People Operations Team look after our Central Support Head office and have Regional teams across our Park portfolio and are the first port of call for the function.

This role will include (and not limited to):

- Working with the CPO to develop and drive out the people strategy.
- Supporting with the coordination and implementation of key annual processes and new initiatives.
- Motivating and developing Regional Business Partners, ensuring effective implementation of the People strategy.
- Supporting the Talent Acquisition Lead to ensure parks are sufficiently resourced and that seasonal recruitment is sufficiently planned.
- Championing and implementing a reward offering that motivates and retains any talent.
- Supporting on complex ER cases ensuring the business is legally compliant.
- Working alongside the OD Lead to develop and implement any changes tp organisational structures.
- Support the Board in driving a culture of recognition and career development for all colleagues.

**Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need;**

If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:

- Extensive HR Operational and Change leadership experience
- The ability to manage HR transformation projects
- In depth experience of dealing with employee relations case work; excellent employment law and HR practice knowledge
- Experience of supporting managers to find solutions and of developing collaborative and productive relationships with a wide variety of individuals;
- Resilience and self-motivation;
- Great communication skills with proven experience of effectively influencing business decision at senior stakeholder level

It’s the icing on the cake if you have a CIPD Level 7 or are willing to study for it, a degree or equivalent qualification, and experience of working with stakeholders across multiple locations
