**People Operations Advisor**

**Location**: Central Support, Hemel Hempstead

**Hours of work**: Permanent, 37.5hrs per week

**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting into the Head of People Operations, our People Operations Team champion our culture as well as look after our Central Support Head office, have regional teams across our park portfolio, and are the first port of call for the function. You will drive operational Learning and Development initiatives and partner with GM’s and Central Support Heads of Department across a wide range of HR issues.

This role will include (and not limited to):

- Overseeing the employee experience making sure that Away Resorts is the best place to work.
- General People support with recruitment, training, ER case work and process/system guidance.
- Supporting the Head of People Operations with any business wide activity
- Business Partnering with the Central Support Heads of Department in driving people initiatives and Away Resorts values throughout.
- Ensure legal compliance in relation to employment law, and other statutory requirements.
- Champion all People Operations processes to include the issuing of contracts ensuring all RTW (Right to Work) documents are obtained on the first day of employment in line with the Good Work Plan within Central Support.
- Champion best practice in equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Champion all company operating procedures and ensure that the team are all implementing processes in line with service standards.

**Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need**

If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:

- Experience working in a similar role within a medium to large organisation.
- Knowledge of monitoring employee turnover data and working with park operations teams to look for opportunities to enhance our employment proposition.
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience of partnering with management and communicating effectively at all levels
- Set clear realistic priorities and regularly communicate and evaluate these.
- Regularly communicate with team members individually ensuring that objectives are clear while encouraging team retention.
- Create a working atmosphere that is safe, happy, and inclusive in line with the Away Resorts values.
- Ensure that teams receive prompt and consistent communications.

It’s the icing on the cake if you have a CIPD qualification or are willing to study for it, a degree or equivalent qualification, and experience of working with stakeholders across multiple locations
