**Job Summary**
The Senior Sandwich Artist plays a crucial role in our establishment by ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and customer service. This position requires a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to food safety standards. The Senior Sandwich Artist will lead by example, mentoring junior staff while creating delicious sandwiches that delight our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in training new team members on food preparation techniques and restaurant procedures.
- Engage with customers, providing exceptional service and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure timely replenishment of ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management and order processing.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Experience in serving customers with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Culinary experience is advantageous, showcasing creativity in sandwich design and flavour combinations.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively, contributing to overall sales performance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£13.21 per hour
