**Salary**: up to £26,000, depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity for a Billing Assistant to join a thriving, global law firm and build a career in legal finance. You will join the friendly Finance department and work as part of a supportive, nationwide team undertaking an essential and varied role covering several aspects of the day to day running of an international law firm, including:
- Processing and recording of office/client receipts and payments in compliance with SRA account rules, accurate and timely client bank reconciliations
- Running the auto billing processes and managing KPI’s
- Monitoring the distribution and billing of manual pre bills and following up on unbilled WIP (matter validation)
- Managing discounts and rebates and ensuring correct change rates for clients, transactions and client interest calculations
- Producing reporting and drafting for fee earners, partners and clients
Previous practical Billing experience is preferred. Strong communication and IT skills (Excel and MS Office) are essential. You have a positive, can-do approach and ability to work on own initiative.
