To strengthen our training team, we are now looking to recruit a Driver Operations Trainer on a full-time, permanent basis, who will deliver key operational training programmes such as Core Rules and Personal Track Safety to train drivers and front-line staff.

This would be an exciting opportunity for an experienced driver, to pass on their knowledge and experience of the rail industry to others, gaining accredited training qualifications, whilst maintaining their own competency as a Driver.

**What does the job involve?**
- Designing and delivering innovative operational training programmes for our trainee train drivers and front-line colleagues.
- Ensuring the delivery of safety critical knowledge, rules and regulations, to meet railway standards.
- Delivering initial and refresher personal track safety programmes.
- Assessing trainees’ achievements and providing professional feedback.
- Working closely with other teams and departments to ensure programme are evaluated and updated to reflect industry best practice.

**What skills and experience do I need to do the job?**
- Over 3 years’ operational experience in as a qualified train driver.
- A natural ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Motivated, keen to be part of a dynamic team delivering quality training.
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
