As a Commercial Underwriter you will be a key part of the Commercial Team, dealing with Property, Casualty and Property Owners products.

Day to day, you’ll be required to underwrite and process new business, MTAs and renewal cases.

You will be responsible for maintaining agreed service levels and supporting other members of the team as and when asked to do so.

**What will be your responsibilitites?**
- Handle new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and referrals within your authority, issuing relevant supporting documentation.
- Contribute to attainment of team income objectives for both New Business and Retention.
- Comply with binder requirements, internal process and procedures.
- Build professional and longstanding relationships with brokers and insurers

**What skills and experience are we looking for?**
- Able to work as part of a team and to adapt to change to deliver best outcomes for customers at all times
- Ability to deal with insurers, brokers and internal colleagues
- Ability to analyse complex information and draw out the relevant facts
- Knowledge of insurance market and insurance products
- Understand pricing, loss ratios, margins and profitability

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- 3 years Commercial Underwriting experience within a composite or MGA
- Cert CII or progress towards qualification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £33,000.00 per year
