Female Personal Care Assistant/support Worker Ref:

Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist a Child with a Learning Disability living in the Rutherglen area.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home, and in the community including attending to personal care and participation in social activities. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Attending to all personal care needs (showering, toileting including bowel movements,)
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Walking, Cycling, football and assisting with participation in these physical activities
- Household shopping and collecting prescriptions
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid.
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Favourite activities are swimming, music, sensory experiences and socialising.
Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**
Recruiting for (one position).
Guaranteed permanent position of 5 hours per week
**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times
Saturday: 12pm - 5pm
**Hourly rate**:
£12.00 per hour
