Internal Communications Executive - Insurance

We have an exciting role for an Internal Communications Executive to work within a vibrant yet professional Insurance Services organisation with international presence.

You will be a true Internal Communications Executive, ideally not from a pure marketing background.

You will be part of an internal communications team that is wholly responsible for developing and delivering an end-to-end internal communications strategy for their reinsurance initiative project that is already underway. The main aim is to bring together2 aspects of the business to create a combined team within reinsurance to work as 1.

The role will support the Senior Internal Communications Manager, who is responsible for overall internal communications within the group.

The role is hybrid with the main office being based in the heart of the City, close to Bank Station, within the comms and reinsurance side of the business.

This is a true global role so experience of working within a global business and/or across multiple geographies as well as working with multiple senior stakeholders within multiple time-zones around the world would be advantageous as you will be in regularcontact with US and European offices.

The role will involve the tactical execution of day to day internal communications activities, along with helping to shape a communications & engagement strategy and plan to:

- Assist colleagues in newly acquired/merged divisions
- Assist and new acquisitions to feel excited and optimistic about the future and strive for professional excellence and sustained growth
- Support the business to retain and win clients
- Support the creation of a singular, supportive and forward thinking culture

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with senior executives and other key stakeholders and integration work stream leads to execute the communications strategy and produce and develop a channel for all internal communications
- Educate stakeholders about the role of internal communications in driving growth and employee engagement
- Be the first point of contact for internal communications incoming contacts
- Develop credibility with, and support local leaders and managers to effectively engage with their teams
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of Global internal communications plans
- Contribute to pan-UK internal communications plans, using various media: newsletters, video, intranet PowerPoint, SharePoint use and event management
- Advise on best practice approaches and work with the senior leadership teams across multiple geographies to generate a regular and consistent flow of communications
- Write informative and engaging print and on-line communications (announcements, letters, presentations, etc.) ensuring quality, tone, consistency, and alignment with business style, goals, objectives
- Co-ordinate various presentations for external / internal events

**Technical Knowledge (desirable)**
- Experience of administering and managing web content in Microsoft SharePoint. This includes creating and maintaining web pages, lists, libraries, user permissions, queries, etc.
- Poppulo (internal communications software tool)
- O365 tools, such as Teams, TeamsLive and other Microsoft products

**Experience**

Relevant work experience in internal communications or employee engagement desirable but not required. Experience in the Insurance / Financial Services sector required, Reinsurance sector desirable
