The Communications department is responsible for raising awareness for
_The Economist’s_ brand, content, and business programs and successes among internal and external audiences.

Currently, we are seeking an Internal Communications Executive on a permanent basis to join our world class Communications team. The Internal Communications Executive will report to the Head of Internal Communications and work closely with the global Internal Communications team to help grow awareness of our business activities and success among internal audiences.

Accountabilities:
**How you will contribute**:

- Develop and deliver on global internal communications programmes that inspire and engage colleagues
- Plan and organise events which encourage two-way dialogue and knowledge sharing
- Create, review and write content for a variety of internal communication channels to engage and educate colleagues and ensure alignment of internal and external messages
- Drive employee engagement and culture through digital platforms (Slack, Intranet, newsletter)
- Evaluate, using data and other means, the success of internal communications strategies undertaken, propose fresh approaches where needed
- Audit, measure and reflect on communications programmes

- Strong attention to detail and event logistics experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Digital channels experience - working with either an Intranet or website
- Eye for design - developing light graphics and/or video communications
- Solid organisational and planning skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines
- Self starter with a flexible, collaborative, positive and professional demeanour
- Ability to be a strong ambassador for the Communications team
- Curious mindset with a desire to learn and operate in a global arena
