**About the** role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join the MHA Central Befriending Team. The Central Befriending Team is responsible for delivering a high quality remote befriending service to older people nationally.

Could you be the person to take on this exciting role to support our ambitious befriending plans so that we can provide vital help in tackling loneliness and isolation for those in later life?

**About You**

We are looking for an individual with an ability to communicate effectively with volunteers, older people and colleagues across the organisation. Organisational skills will be integral to success in this role so you should possess the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload. The team use IT systems including Sugar CRM and Xurrent, therefore strong IT skills are needed for the role.

As a charity that cares for older people, you should be passionate about reducing loneliness and isolation and determined to make a difference for the 18500 individuals we support across the country.
